I intend to post here more often—mostly photos and short little bits of history—but the primary intent for the Steppes of Chicago is to run long-form essays. That doesn’t mean we can’t have a few fluffy bits in-between.

I’ve shut off comments for the Steppes of Chicago blog because we were being inundated with spam. I’m sure there’s a way to repair this, but I can’t make head nor tail of the directions. I’m also unsure about how to add Facebook and Twitter buttons. Suggestions? Let me know at dan@mrdankelly.com.
